Handbook on ASEAN Consumer Protection Laws and Regulations

This Handbook is the first publication on consumer protection regimes in ASEAN as part of the important process of providing consumers access to information and building awareness. The Handbook provides consumers with the relevant information on ASEAN Member States’ laws and regulations on consumer protection, the agencies in charge of consumer protection, and references to the complaints mechanisms for redress as well as national consumer associations. The Handbook also contains information on the ASEAN work on consumer protection referencing the ASEAN High-Level Principles for Consumer Protection.
